Welcome to Wermers Design & Architecture.  We are a small (but mighty) design studio that creates solutions for living, working and playing. We listen to our clients and strive to deliver success from both aesthetic and practical perspectives.  Wd&a’s approach merges strategic thinking and creative insight to produce places that are imaginative, collaborative and smart. 

We seek clients with the desire to look beyond the ordinary to capture and express an architectures that is authentic to it place, time and use. We strive to listen carefully to our clients needs and provide the best possible solution.

Wermers Design & Architecture is founded by Charles Wermers. Charles attended the University of Virginia, receiving a BS in Architecture and then completed his Masters of Architecture at Princeton University.  He worked in New York for 15 years with some of the best Architecture Firms in the country, including rockwell group and Ike, Kligerman Barkley.  In 2010 started Wermers Design & Architecture in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
